Before entering the city, take a few minutes to read the Community Rules. They'll help you understand how roleplay works in Aeon and avoid common mistakes before you enter the city.
A few minutes spent reading now can prevent confusion later and help you create better roleplay from day one.

Your character is more than a name—they're the beginning of your story.
Before you enter the city, take a few minutes to think about who your character is and the kind of life they want to build.
Ask yourself:
- What motivates them?
- What kind of life or career are they interested in?
- Are they outgoing or reserved?
- Do they generally follow the rules, or are they more likely to push the limits?
- What are they hoping to achieve in Aeon?
Remember
The most memorable characters aren't perfect.
They're believable, imperfect, and always evolving.

📱 Step 5 — Set Up Your Phone
Your phone is one of the most important tools you'll use in Aeon.
From communicating with other players to navigating the city and managing your finances, your phone is at the center of everyday life in Aeon.
With your phone, you'll be able to:

- 🗺️ Use GPS to navigate the city
- 💬 Send and receive messages
- 💳 Access your bank account
- 💼 Find employment opportunities

Don't worry about learning every app on day one. As you continue through the handbook—and your time in Aeon—you'll naturally become familiar with each feature.

MRPD is an important stop for new residents getting settled into life in Aeon.
Here, you can take care of a few early essentials and find guidance to help you get started.
At MRPD, you can:
- 🚗 Obtain your driver's license
- 🔫 Obtain your weapons license
- 🔎 Inquire about individuals or groups within the city
- 🚘 Get pointed in the right direction for obtaining a starter vehicle
- 💼 Find guidance on getting started with employment

💼 Step 7 — Find Your First Job
Every story starts somewhere—and for many characters, that begins with a job.
Your first job is about more than earning money. It's an opportunity to meet people, learn the city, and create memorable roleplay along the way.
Whether you're interested in:

- 🛠️ Civilian jobs
- 🏪 Player-owned businesses
Every career helps shape the stories of the community.
There isn't a single "best" job—choose the one that fits the story you want to tell.
Character Growth
Your first job is only the beginning.
As your character grows, don't be afraid to explore new careers that fit their journey.

Roleplay is built around the people you meet.
Every memorable story starts with a conversation. Whether it's another new resident, a business owner, a police officer, or simply someone you pass on the sidewalk, don't be afraid to introduce yourself.
When meeting someone for the first time:
